How do you make the blurry parts? The light looks so soft...

I wet the paper where I want strokes to be blurry, dip the brush into moist-ish paint, then make a stroke ( a tree limb) . Where paint passes through wet paper the edges go blurry, and remain sharp on dry paper. It's easy, just need a bit of timing practice :)
